Welcome to the Web site for ASIS&T SIG SI, the Special Interest Group for Social Informatics of the Association for Information Science and Technology. SIG SI brings together researchers who are interested in the social aspects of computerization, including the roles of ICT in social and organizational change, the uses of IT in social contexts, and the ways that the social organization of IT is influenced by social forces and social practices.

SIG SI is happy to announce the Call for Papers and Participation for our 10th Annual Social Informatics Research Symposium: Connecting (Epistemic) Cultures and (Intellectual) Communities.
